2010 UPDATES

December 18, 2010

Happy Holidays, most excellent friends!  This will not only be our last update for 2010, but our last update before our major site overhaul!  We hope to have the newly designed site up and running by the first of the year (or, failing that, shortly afterwards, but we will be sure to keep you up to date with our progress if it takes longer.)  So for the holidays please enjoy our annual rerunning of the original Look In! Christmas-themed Bill & Ted comic strips from 1992!  We also have a new Photo of the Week from Bogus Journey of Ted during the end of the big Battle of the Bands finale, as well as a repeat of some Fox Kids Network commercials for the Bill & Ted cartoons after the Hanna-Barbera episodes were added to that network's lineup of episodes in our Video Theater (our very last Video Theater posting ever!  Bogus!  But not so bogus, as everything is mostly up on YouTube with more to come!)  Wishing you a most merry Christmas and a very excellent New Year with lots of exciting things happen (don't forget, 2011 will mark the 20th anniversary of Bogus Journey!!)

What's up, excellent personages?  This week we're back with more of our usual updates, including a brand new Photo of the Week which shows a rare behind-the-scenes look at the prehistoric pit stop scene from Excellent Adventure!  And we are repeating a very interesting and insightful interview with Keanu Reeves from 1991 which aired on E! Entertainment Television in our Video Theater.  Whoa!

Where has the year flown?  Somewhere along the Circuits of History, no doubt!  As we approach the end of this year we bring you our regular updates, which include a brand new Photo of the Week, this time showing Stations as Bill & Ted first encounter them in Heaven in Bogus Journey.  And we have a repeat of a TSB Bank commercial from England which utilized a few clips from the Bill & Ted movies as part of a movie ticket promotion in our our Video Theater.  Excellent!  And we have added some syndicated commercials for Bogus Journey to our YouTube Channel as well!  And if you're just looking for something fun to watch, check out Ratflix' review of Excellent Adventure!  It is a most bodacious ride!

What's up, dudes?  Hope you had a most excellent Thanksgiving this past week and are ready to delve into the Christmas holidays (already?  Whoa!)  And what better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than to catch Hal Landon, Jr. as Ebenezer Scrooge in his 31st year performing the part in South Coast Repertory's annual favorite, A Christmas Carol?  You can find more information about this on our News, page, babes and dudes!  This time around we are bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week in which you can see a couple of historical figures being arrested at the San Dimas Mall.  Bogus!  And then head over to our Video Theater for a repeat of a very interesting Entertainment Tonight segment on the movie merchandising taking place in the summer of 1991, including some rare unreleased stuff for Bogus Journey!  Excellent!

Greetings, my excellent friends!  Welcome to another week of updates!  Our site reconstruction is still under way but we hope to launch the new website sometime in December.  In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy a repeat of Keanu Reeves' and Taj Mahal's appearance on a 1991 episode of Friday Night Videos in our Video Theater on which they promoted Bogus Journey.  And we received a most outstanding Fans Costume photo from Erin and Teri of Canada, so be sure to check out their most resplendent costumes from Halloween this year!  And for our Photo of the Week you can see Colonel Oates tormenting Bill & Ted in the afterlife from Bogus Journey, which is most bogus indeed!  And we have added some syndicated television commercials for Excellent Adventure to our YouTube Channel.  Excellent!!

Whoa!!!  We're back with more updates, babes and dudes!  This week we have a brand new Photo of the Week which shows Bill & Ted when they first met the Princess Babes in Medieval England!  And we are repeating a very funny segment from an interview Keanu did on Jimmy Kimmel Live! a couple of years back in our Video Theater.  And then check out the Costumes Gallery Page to see Zeldaartist's Bill costume she improvised for Halloween this year!  Not bad!

How's it hangin', dudes?  We hope you had a fun Halloween and we're really excited to see your Costume Photos . . . in fact, we've started a whole new Costumes Gallery Page for them, and we're most pleased to bring you the first submitted photo of this Halloween season with Caiti and Julia's masquerading most resplendently as The Two Great Ones!  Excellent job!!  We're also very pleased to be able to bring you an exclusive Q&A interview with the two creators of Bill & Ted's Excellent Soundboard, the new app from Widebeam, and you can find the link to that on our News page!  Also new this week, we have some outstanding updates for you this week, including the conclusion of William Sadler's appearance as Death on Tales from the Crypt which we began last week in our Video Theater!  We also have a very interesting Photo of the Week which shows one of the missing scenes from Bogus Journey as it was presented on one of the Pro Set trading cards, which followed the original cut of the movie.  And Zeldaartist created some very interesting pictures using Bill & Ted and Photoshop which you can now scope out on her Fans Gallery Page!  Excellent!  And we have added some interesting television commercials for both Bill & Ted movies which aired on Australian television when the movies ran there to our YouTube Channel.  Not bad!!

Boo, dude!  We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween and don't forget to take photos of yourselves in your Bill & Ted related costumes this year and send them in for our Fans Costumes Gallery!  We always get so many creative costumes each year and we hope this year will be no exception!  As you make your final Halloween preparations, take time to check out our regular updates this week!  First we have a brand new Photo of the Week from Excellent Adventure which shows Bill & Ted as they are traveling through time in the phone booth.  Then Zelda sent us an outstanding pencil drawing of the Good Robot Bill for her Fans Gallery page, which is just too cute!  And we are bringing you part one of our traditional Halloween video in our Video Theater, which is William Sadler's memorable appearance as The Grim Reaper on Tales from the Crypt (part two will run next week!)  Want the perfect Halloween movie?  Check out Freaked, whether it's for the first time or the fifty-fifth time, it's the perfect freaky movie for your Halloween party!  Party On, Dudes!

Greetings, most excellent babes and dudes!  It's good to be back again, and this week we have a brand new Photo of the Week which shows Bill & Ted with Death right after they've beat him badly at Battleship in Bogus Journey!  We also have a repeat of an Energizer commercial featuring a very De Nomolos-like Joss Ackland going after the Energizer Bunny in our Video Theater.  We also have information about Alex Winter's recent appearance on the Bagged and Boarded Smodcast on our News page.  The excellent Zeldaartist sent us a totally impressive drawing of the animated Bill for her new Fans Gallery Page, so be sure to check that out!  And we have added the Bill & Ted Play Doh Fun Factory tie-in commercial to our YouTube Channel in high quality!  And if you haven't yet purchased your tickets to Halloween Horror Nights in the hopes of seeing Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure this year you may find them hard to come by, as the event usually sells out the closer it gets to Halloween!  But you can still celebrate the holiday by dressing as the Two Great Ones, and if you do don't forget to have a friend snap a picture of you to send in for our Fans Costume Page!  We're looking forward to seeing how creative everyone is this year, so don't be left out!  Party On, Dudes!

How's it hangin', dudes?  This week we're back with our regular updates, but we also have News about the all-new, outstanding and non-heinous app that all B&T fans are going to want on their mobile devices!  It's called Bill & Ted's Excellent Soundboard, and now you can amuse your friends and confuse those not familiar with the Two Great Ones by playing soundclips from the films, plus you can get most excellent ringtones for your phone and play air guitar!!  Not bad!  We are also bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week which features the exciting escape from the Royal Ugly Dudes in Medieval England in Excellent Adventure.  The outstanding Julia has sent in a new story which is a reworking of Every Rose Has its Thorn but this time from Kimberly's point of view!  Most excellent!!  And we have a repeat of both Alex and Keanu on MTV's Summer Preview Special from 1991 in our Video Theater.  And don't forget to plan your trip to Universal Studios, either in Hollywood or Orlando, to catch Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure before it's over for another year!  We will be out of town next week but will return on the 23rd of October with more updates!  Not bad!

Greetings, most excellent friends!  We are very excited to announce that the second Sequelcast download page show, this one focusing on Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, has now been posted, and you can totally get it now (you can also read more about it on our News page!)  We had a lot of fun discussing both movies with Uncle Milkshake and the gang, and we know you'll have fun listening to our conversation as well!  We also have our regular updates, including a brand new Photo of the Week featuring Missy-Mom and her friends in the midst of their most exciting seance ever in Bogus Journey, as well as the next segment from William Sadler's 1991 appearance on Beach MTV in 1991 where he was promoting Bogus Journey in our Video Theater.  The most outstanding Kathryn has sent us an amazing drawing she did of Ted, as well as a picture of a totally non-heinous Wyld Stallyns shirt she made for a Halloween costume, and you can see both on her brand new Fans Gallery Page!  And the excellent Amanda sent us some photos which should totally inspire you for Halloween this year, as she and her friends invaded Dragoncon 2010 dressed as characters from Excellent Adventure!  You can view them on the Fans Costumes Pages!  And speaking of Halloween, don't forget about Universal's Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure in both Orlando, Florida, and Hollywood, California . . . truly a most resplendent way to spend your Halloween this year!  We have also added the hilarious clip "Bill & Ted's Excellent Dictionary" from Nickelodeon's True Stories from Famous People, in high quality to our YouTube Channel.  And be sure to sign up for both our Facebook Group and Twitter page, where we post something new practically every day and not the same thing in both places, so you need to sign up for both to make sure you don't miss a single B&T thing!

It is time!  No, really . . . this time it may actually be time!  Time for what?  Time for a third movie, dudes!  While keeping firmly in mind that there is still a LOT to be worked out with this, Alex Winter has confirmed for MTV News that the script for a third B&T is in the works!  Alex, Keanu, Ed and Chris seem to have struck upon an idea that Ed and Chris are currently working into a script, and you can read more about this excitingly excellent scoop on our News page!  Let's just say it's the most promising news on a third Bill & Ted film we've heard yet!  It is also time for you to sign up for our new Facebook Group and Twitter page, if you haven't done so already!  Why add these to your weekly visits to our most outstanding website?  Because we are now covering even more up-to-the-minute news about everything related to Bill & Ted, so by checking us out there you'll be sure to find out all the latest info about Keanu, Alex and everything else pertaining to your favorite movies!  And during these most exciting times that will prove more useful than ever!  Not bad!  That doesn't mean we won't keep updating this website as well with more detailed and excellent information!  This week we're most pleased to bring you a brand new Photo of the Week of Napoleon at Zyggy's Ice Cream Parlor.  We also have a repeat of the second appearance by William Sadler on Beach MTV in 1991 where he was promoting Bogus Journey in our Video Theater.  And it's that time of year to start making plans to go to Universal Studios outrageous and bodaciously scary Halloween Horror Nights (number twenty this year!) to check out Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure show for 2010 in both the Orlando and Hollywood parks!  It's a totally non-heinous way to plan to celebrate Halloween this year, babes and dudes!  And finally, head on over to The Sequelcast download page and grab the first of two podcasts in which these most excellent dudes (and yours truly, Linda Kay) discuss Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure!  It was a most enjoyable discussion and we know you'll enjoy hearing it!

Greetings, most excellent friends!  This week we bring you some most outstanding News about the arrival of brand new Bill & Ted shirts to Wal Mart stores in the U.S., thanks to Hybrid Tees!  You can check out the new style and find out when these shirts are due to hit stores so you can be the first to get yours!  Excellent!  We also invite you to join our new Facebook Group and Twitter page and share your thoughts on Bill & Ted with your fellow fans!  What's the benefit of following us on Facebook and Twitter?  We are covering more news about Alex and Keanu there than we've previously been able to on the website, for one!  Excellent!!!  Many thanks to Pash for sending us photos of his most outstanding Bill bobble-head doll which he made to keep his Ted bobble-head doll company!  And you can totally view the pictures of Bobble-head Bill on his Fans Gallery Page!  We have added the second half of the 1991 Behind the Scenes look at Bogus Journey from E! Babes and dudes, it has come to our attention that a most unprecedented event took place last weekend at the New Beverly Cinema in Hollywood, California.  Unfortunately it is one we did not know about in advance, so we were not present to cover it for everyone, which is most bogus.  Apparently Alex Winter, Ed Solomon and original Princess babe Kimberley Kates made an appearance at a special screening of both Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey and talked about the making of both movies (Kimberley only talked about the first film.)  You can read what we do know about the event on our News page, but we are desperately seeking more information from anyone who may have attended this screening!!  Also we find ourselves once again battling a bunch of B&T 3 rumors because of comments Alex made at the screening, which are simply not true.  Because we realize we dropped the ball on this event, we have decided to make some major changes to the website in the coming weeks, the first of which is the addition of a brand new Facebook Group which you can join now!  The second of which is our venture into Twitter, which you can follow now!  Not bad!!  We will be expanding this in the coming weeks, but we encourage everyone to join these new options as a new means of communicating with the other fans who also frequent this site!   We will also be totally overhauling the website in the coming weeks as well, so stay tuned (if at any time you visit our page and see it is under construction, it will mean we're nearing the completion of these changes.)  As for our regular updates, we have also added a new Photo of the Week of Colonel Oates from Bogus Journey.  And in our Video Theater we have a repeat of the first half of a very interesting Behind the Scenes look at Bogus Journey from E! Entertainment Television.  Also with Halloween coming up, we are most appreciative to the excellent Charlotte babe, as well as Steffen dude, who let us know about two new sites which sell the Save the Human bumper stickers needed for Ted's Excellent Adventure costume!  Thanks to both for their most timely update!  And finally we are posting the Bill & Ted segment from I Love 1988 as seen in the U.K. to our YouTube Channel.  Not bad!!

It is time for another week of updates, babes and dudes!  This time we're bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week from Excellent Adventure from the excitingly non-heinous chase scene at the San Dimas Mall.  And we have added the second half of the two-part repeat interview with Bill & Ted producer Scott Kroopf from our regular video rotation to our Video Theater!  To get you into the mood for Halloween (which is coming right up, babes and dudes!) Jared and Josh have sent us photos of themselves as the Two Great Ones inspired by the Halloween Horror Nights shows at Universal Studios, and you can check those out on our Fans' Costume page!  We have also added the conclusion of Julia's most excellent story Every Rose Has Its Thorn, which has a most dramatic and exciting turn of events!  And in the coming weeks we will be bringing you some exciting news about all-new Bill & Ted t-shirts which you may be able to find at a Wal Mart near you, so be sure to check back with us!!

Happy day before the 4th of July, babes and dudes!  If you're in a patriotic mood to party on, why not check out the episode of the animated Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures in which they visit, among other places, the American Revolution, now showing (as all the cartoon episodes are) on our new Animated Series Episode Guides, both for Hanna Barbera and DIC?  It's a most excellent way to spend the holiday!  And we now have ALL of the animated episodes embedded for you to watch right here on this site, thanks to MGM and the excellent personages at Hulu.com!  Excellent!!!  (One possibly bogus note . . . it's possible that the videos may not be available to view in all parts of the world.)  We have also added the opening segment of a short film made by Alex Winter and Tom Stern featuring Keanu Reeves which aired as part of CBS' Hard Rock Cafe Saves the Planet special in our Video Theater.  Our Photo of the Week features Missy-Mom watering the plants in the backyard just as the phone booth is about to land in Excellent Adventure.  And by special request we are adding our exclusive interviews with the two teams of actors who played Bill & Ted in the very first Universal Halloween Horror Nights Bill & Ted show to our YouTube Channel!  This week we're uploading our interview with John Gallagher and Robert Ramos!  Not bad!

Hello, most excellent friends!  We hope your Memorial Day weekend was . . . memorable.  This week we are bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week from the game-playing segment of Bogus Journey, plus we have the second collection of clips from entertainment shows covering the Bogus Journey premiere in our Video Theater.  And the most outstanding David Jones pointed out yet another blooper from Excellent Adventure involving the forming of the phone booth reflected in Rufus' glasses, which you can check out on our EA Bloopers page!  The most prolific and excellent Julia has sent us a revised version of her story Flashback, as well as a new story, which is a really sweet love letter from Elizabeth to Ted entitled One Thing I Will Say.  And finally, the most excellent Andy dude sent us a very interesting version of the Hanna-Barbera animated Bill & Ted theme song in Spanish as performed by Club Super 3, and you can find that on our Animated Theme Songs page!  Keep checking in with us, dudes, because in the coming weeks we hope to start having some all-new interesting updates for you!  Not bad!

Greetings, most excellent friends!  We are back with another week of updates, and as usual we have a new Photo of the Week which shows you what the Wyld Stallyns drawing on the back of Bill's shirt looks like!  We also have some new pictures from John and Patrick in their Bill & Ted costumes from last Halloween which we have added to the Fans Costumes Page!  And we have a brand new story from the most excellent Julia entitled A Totally Odd Spring Break, which you'll most definitely want to read!  And in our Video Theater we have a repeat of the commercial for the Play*Doh Fun Factory with the special Bill & Ted tie-in Fun Pak.  And finally we have the final segment of the live action series episode entitled Destiny Babes to our YouTube Channel.  Most non-heinous indeed!

San Dimas High School Football Rules!  But we knew that already, didn't we?  So let's get on with this week's updates already!  We have added a new Photo of the Week featuring that most excellent other-worldly being, Death dude!  In our Video Theater we have a repeat of Bill & Ted's Excellent Dictionary from Nickelodeon's True Stories from Famous People.  And finally we have added part three of the live action series episode entitled Destiny Babes to our YouTube Channel.  Whoa!  Excellent!!

How's it goin', dudes?  Welcome back for another week of updates!  This time around we have a brand new Photo of the Week which shows Rufus waiting for the second pair of Bill & Ted to exit the phone booth at the Circle K in Excellent Adventure.  And Keanu made a special appearance for the Los Angeles Shakespeare Center in a reading of Much Ado About Nothing last week which you can read about on our News page.  And we have yet another new story from the outstanding Julia, this one entitled A Most Triumphant Graduation!  Not bad!!  And in our Video Theater this week we have a repeat of the second outtake from the Bogus Journey dailies, this one focusing on Alex Winter.  Finally we have added the second part of the live action series episode entitled Destiny Babes to our YouTube Channel.  Not bad!

Dudes!  We have returned with another week of outstanding updates for you!  First, check out our News section where we have information about a brand new Facebook group where the outstanding Joe dude is working to try to get the missing scenes from Bogus Journey released!  Excellent!  We have returned to the very beginning of our Video Theater rotation to bring you a repeat of a very funny alternative clip from the Behind the Scenes featurette on Excellent Adventure!  The most outstanding a hugely talented Pash has sent in a wonderful illustration for Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, as well as a couple of story boards he created for a scene from the movie, which you simply must scope out on his new Fans Gallery Page!  Also the most creative Lucy and Ryan have sent us photos of their incredible Bill & Ted cosplay, and you can view those on our Fans Costumes Page!  And we have a most excellent photo from the Battle of the Bands scene of Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week.  And finally we have posted part three of the Fox live action series episode It's a Totally Wonderful Life on our YouTube Channel.  Not bad!

Babes and dudes, it is time!  Time for another week of updates!  And this week we were thrilled to see Keanu at the Oscars, introducing The Hurt Locker (which was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who directed Keanu in Point Break.  Congrats Kathryn on your well-deserved win as well!)  But the real news for Bill & Ted fans was on the red carpet when MTV's Josh Horowitz asked Keanu about a possible new Bill & Ted project, to which Keanu did not say no!  You can read more about this on our News page.  The excellent writer Julia has also sent in a photo of herself dressed as Bill from Bogus Journey which we've included on the Fans Costumes Page.  And speaking of Julia babe, she has sent in another story for us entitled Never Meant to Be!  Not bad!  We're also bringing you a brand new Photo of the Week which is actually one of the Pro Set trading cards for Excellent Adventure, and more specifically from the old west scene.  We have added some repeats of commercials from the Fox Kids Network which include clips from the animated Bill & Ted series during it's second season run on that Network to our Video Theater.  And we are continuing to post episodes of the live action Bill & Ted series to our YouTube Channel . . . this week it's part one of It's a Totally Wonderful Life!  Air guitar!

How's it hangin', babes and dudes?  This week we're returning with more updates, including a brand new Photo of the Week which shows Bill playing Twister solo in Bogus Journey.  And we have to thank the most observant Kate for sending us a photo of an awesome-looking, Excellent Adventure inspired cake which she spotted in the front window of the Gourmet Gallery in Minneapolis and sent in to include on one of our Fans Gallery Page!  Outstanding eats!  The most outstanding Julia babe has sent us two new stories which tie together . . . first there is My Day Away (Bill's Perspective), in which Bill makes a mysterious trip to Los Angeles, and then My Day Away (Ted's Perspective) in which Ted must find a way to keep busy for those three days.  In our Video Theater we have some commercials for the animated series on Fox after the Hanna Barbera episodes had joined the lineup of reruns.  And finally we have the last segment of the live action Bill & Ted episode "The Lives that We Live," or "As the Dude Turns," on our YouTube Channel!  And don't forget . . . do not do you homework without wearing headphones!

Greetings, most excellent friends!  We're back with more updates for you!  This week we're bringing you a very interesting interview with William Sadler from CNN Showbiz Today (from an airing in Japan!) to promote Bogus Journey in our Video Theater.   And this week our Photo of the Week is of the most excellent Clarence Clemons as one of The Most Important People in the Universe!  Whoa!  Street / sticker artist simple from Detroit was inspired by his favorite movie to draw his version of Bill & Ted, so check out his most outstanding artwork on his Fans Gallery Page!  And the most outstanding Julia has written another story for us!  Not bad!  This one explains exactly what happened when Rufus helped the Princess Babes escape from Medieval England and is entitled Escaping the Royal Ugly Dudes!  And finally we have part three of the live action Bill & Ted episode "The Lives that We Live," or "As the Dude Turns," on our YouTube Channel!  No way!  Yes way!

Greetings, most excellent friends, and a very Happy New Year to you!  Here's hoping 2010 will turn out to be a most excellent year!  We are back after our short vacation to bring you the next video clip in our rotation, which is Keanu and Taj Mahal rockin' it on Friday Night Videos in 1991 to promote Bogus Journey, and you can view this most stellar clip in our Video Theater.  We have also added a new Photo of the Week which shows Evil Robot Bill & Ted as they trash Bill & Ted's apartment in Bogus Journey.  And we have one final costume photo from last year's Halloween submissions on our Fans Costumes Page . . . the most outstanding Grant and Daniel show off their outstanding Bill & Ted threads for us!  What better way to ring in the New Year?  Thanks, little dudes!
