2008 UPDATES
December 27, 2008
Another year has come and gone, babes and dudes, and to ring in this New Year we have our usual updates. We have a clip from the live action Bill & Ted series from our regular rotation in our Video Theater. And we have a storyboard from Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey as our Photo of the Week. And you can check out the opening segment from the Hanna Barbera animated episode The More Heinous They Are, The Harder They Fall on our YouTube Channel. 2009 is a very important year for fans of the Two Great Ones, because February 2009 marks the twentieth anniversary of Excellent Adventure! Can it really have been twenty years ago that movie audiences first saw a phone booth drop from the sky in front of two startled dim dudes at the Circle K in San Dimas? No way! YES way! We will be honoring the event with some most exciting additions to the site, plus lots of fun stuff, so be sure to stick around for the New Year! Party On!
December 20, 2008
'Tis the season to be excellent to each other, and while you're preparing to have a most bodacious Christmas we have our usual updates, including a new Photo of the Week of Granny S. Preston, Esq. celebrating her birthday in Hades (or rather, Bill's own personal hell). We have another clip from the Bogus Journey dailies in our Video Theater. And you can find out more about Hal Landon, Jr.'s terrific guest appearance on a Christmas-themed episode of My Name is Earl in our News section. And be sure to drop by our YouTube Channel to view the opening scene from the Hanna Barbera animated episode This Babe Ruth Babe is a Dude, Dude! How's it hangin', duders? We're back this week with another batch updates, including the odd one-minute missing scene from Bogus Journey that only crops up during commercial syndicated airing of the film in our Video Theater. We have brand new Fans Costume photos from the outstanding Lawrence and Trenton who dressed as the Two Great Ones for Halloween this year, as well as Gavin and c.j. who also sent us their Halloween costume pictures. Excellent! And have you seen the latest rumors buzzing about the internet in which Keanu says he wouldn't mind doing another Bill & Ted? Check out the latest on our News page! And then we have a new Photo of the Week from the set of Bogus Journey. And finally the conclusion of the live action Bill & Ted episode, Deja Vu, on our YouTube Channel. Not bad! And just a note: we are down to our very last stock of the Wyld Stallyns Bill & Ted T-shirts in our Convenience Store, so if you plan on picking these up for Christmas, better order now while supplies last! We won't be getting that design back in, so when they're gone, they're gone!
November 22, 2008
Greetings, most excellent compadres! We have some non-heinous updates for you this week, including a new Fans Costume photo featuring Stewie and his pal Owen from the Great White North as the Two Great Ones! Not bad! And Hal Landon, Jr. will reprise his role of Ebenezer Scrooge onstage for the 29th time this year for the South Coast Repertory's musical, A Christmas Carol, which you can read about on our News page. We're repeating the first excerpt of Bogus Journey dailies in our Video Theater. We have added a new Photo of the Week from Excellent Adventure as well. And check out our YouTube Channel for part two of the Bill & Ted live action episode Deja Vu. Please note: we will be on vacation next week, so check for our next updates on December 6th. Be Excellent to Each Other!
November 15, 2008
Strange things may be afoot at the Circle K, but this week there's nothing strange about our updates. In fact we have the usual: the next video clip from our rotation in our Video Theater, which happens to be an on-the-set interview with Alex and Keanu for Excellent Adventure (with different shots than the longer promotional film) as well as a brand new Photo of the Week. And we have added the first segment of the live action Bill & Ted series episode Deja Vu to our YouTube Channel. Not bad!

Greetings, my excellent friends! Welcome to another week of updates! This week we're going back to the very beginning with an early video from our regular rotation for our Video Theater, the theme song from the unaired Bill & Ted pilot which is most notably different from the version which was used on the show! In keeping with a theme, we also have a photo of Christopher Kennedy and Evan Richards from that series as our Photo of the Week. And we've been getting some outrageously creative submissions for the Fans Costumes Page you won't want to miss! It's always fun seeing the costumes fans come up with each Halloween! And finally, we've added yet another scene from the Hanna Barbera animated Bill & Ted series to our YouTube Channel! Party On!

First head over to the News page for information about Keanu's upcoming cover story on the holiday issue of Details magazine. Then we have a most excellent new Fans Gallery Page featuring a totally excellent Jack-O-Lantern carved by brothers Keith, Nate and Marcus that you'll want to scope out. And in our Video Theater we have a repeat of an interview with Keanu from The Jimmy Kimmel Show in which they talk about Alex Winter and more. If that weren't enough, you can now watch a short segment from the unaired pilot episode of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, the live action series, on our YouTube Channel. And don't forget to send us your outrageous Bill & Ted costume photos from this year for our Fans Costumes Page, just as brothers Dustin and James have done (check it out!) June 28, 2008
It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of George Carlin last Sunday. We immediately updated our front page in tribute to him, and added a eulogy of sorts to our News page (we have since added information on places fans can donate to worthy causes on his behalf). It's especially sad to think he won't be with us to see Bill & Ted's 20th Anniversary early next year. It is with great respect that we dedicate this week's updates to "Rufus." We have added a special one-time clip in our Video Theater of part of an interview George Carlin did on Later with Bob Costas sometime in the early 1990's. What better way to remember this brilliant comedian than hearing him speak about his work and message? Our Photo of the Week is also of Rufus from Excellent Adventure. And to raise a smile, the excellent Catherine sent in a photo of herself and husband John dressed as Bill & Ted from last Halloween for our Fans Costume Gallery. Thanks, babe and dude! If you would like to share your farewell wishes about George Carlin with fellow fans and you aren't registered on our Forum, feel free to post a comment on our YouTube clip of George Carlin doing the voice of Rufus for the first season of the animated Bill & Ted series. Party on, George. We'll miss you dearly!

Okay, let's be honest, babes and dudes. There hasn't been a whole lot of new stuff going on around here, and for that we apologize. But this week we do have some new and fun stuff for you, finally! First by popular demand, and long overdue, we have finally added the "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K" line to our Sounds section! A lot of fans were confused as to why we omitted this most important line for so long. The truth is back when we set up the sounds that particular soundbyte already seemed to be *everywhere,* so we wanted to go with more obscure lines. But you can't leave out the classics and not be totally bogus, so now it is in the Excellent Adventure section of the Sounds page. You'll also find the sound byte for the line "It's your Mom, dude!" as well. And if you look under the Hanna Barbera sounds section you'll find the "Most Triumphant" from the opening theme song! Excellent! But even more exciting, if you look under the general Sounds page you'll find a most non-heinous surprise . . . a sound file which includes Alex and Keanu co-hosting Westwood One's Solar Eclipse Radio Rock Festival on the night of the Bogus Journey premiere in July 1991! This is a totally hilarious segment but only includes about the first hour and a half of their six hour appearance (cut down to about 12 minutes without the music and commercials)! We've been looking for the rest of this radio show forever, so if you can help us find it, please e-mail us! In the meantime, enjoy what we do have . . . it's the kind of crazy fun only Alex and Keanu can provide! We also have our usual updates, including the next segment from Bill & Ted's Bogus Premiere Party in our Video Theater and a picture of a Merlin trading card for our Photo of the Week. Whoa!

Greetings, most excellent friends! We're back with our usual updates for the week. First, we are continuing our series of video segments from Bill & Ted's Bogus Premiere Party with an interview of Alex Winter by Pauly Shore you can watch in our Video Theater. And we have a most excellent Photo of the Week which features Bill & Ted rocking out at the Battle of the Bands but the way they were to appear before all the changes were made to the ending. Not bad!
