Educated at both Northwestern University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Shor starred on Broadway in "Equus," and has appeared in such films as "Stranger?s Kiss," "Mike?s Murder," "Talk to Me," "Strange Behavior," "Tron," "Back Roads" and "Wise Blood." On television, he was Detective Newman, a regular on "Cagney and Lacey," and has also been seen in the miniseries "The Blue and the Gray," "Rumor of War," "Studs Lonigan" and "Friendly Fire."

Dan Shor made appearances in the films Solar Crisis, Ghoulies 3, Doppelganger and Air Force One.
On television he appeared as the character Dr. Arridor in both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager. He also appeared in episodes of Judging Amy and The X-Files.
In 2007, Dan Shor, who is also a writer and filmmaker, completed a sixth month project for television entitled State of Liberty about the people of Saipan and their stories (you can read an interview with Dan Show and Ben Salas and order the DVD from PassionProfit.com). Later in the year, Dan joined the acting program facility at the International Academy of Film and Television. You can read an interview with Dan Shor at the IAFT's website.
In 2009, he will play a photographer in the short film, Passing Strangers.
