EXCELLENT ADVENTURE SUNGLASSES (circa 1990?)

BOGUS JOURNEY PROMOTION GUIDE (1991)

This booklet was sent to movie theaters and radio stations with ideas for
promotions departments to help advertise and promote Bogus Journey.

BILL & TED'S MOST EXCELLENT PHRASEBOOK (1991)

This promotional booklet was sent to members of the media (both print and
electronic) to use as a reference guide for their articles and promotion about Bogus
Journey. The Bill & Ted Speak listed in this guide is only
somewhat accurate . . . in fact when Alex and Keanu were confronted with various
words and phrases (such as Phantasmagorical) from this booklet by enthusiastic
television interviewers during the junket for the movie they often looked
perplexed and informed the hapless reporter that those definitions "were
products of a publicist's imagination" and really didn't have much to do
with the true Bill & Ted vocabulary.

1-900 PHONE IN CONTEST
(1991)

Promoted on television and in various magazines, this 1-900 phone line
contest promised winners would receive the grand prize, which was the Wyld
Stallyns van from the movie, or two electric guitars signed by Alex Winter and
Keanu Reeves as seen in the snap taken from the commercial above. Runners up would receive a
Nintendo Bill & Ted game cartridge or some Bill & Ted trading cards.
Players were asked to answer questions via their touch tone phones to win.
(And just in case we actually have to point this out, the contest is long
over, so don't try calling the 900-numbers, babes and dudes!)
