Hey, Carlos, sorry you had to go through such a painful experience. It doesn't sound like this guy was worth your heart at all . . . he sounds pretty inconsiderate. But you know, that's the whole purpose of dating is to find out if you're compatible with someone. If you find out you're not, it's not a failure on anyone's part, it's just a realization that it's not meant to be and that there's someone better for you out there. That's what you're dating to learn, and don't ever feel you have to "settle". You find someone who IS considerate of you and wants to spend his time talking to you and not his friends. And if communication is important to you (and it definitely should be) then you simply have to find a guy who feels the same way. Don't think of this as a bad thing, think of it as a step forward . . . now you can move on to find the person right for you. It's gonna hurt for a while, but in the end you'll be so much better off. Just hang in there, okay? :)
