Jim was kind enough to correct us when we
erroneously posted Dusty O'Dee's photo with his name on the cast index page . .
. we were thrown by the fact he was credited as "The Bearded
Cowboy." As Jim was so kind to point out, he didn't actually have a
beard in the movie. Thanks Jim, you are one most outstanding dude!
Updated Biography
According to the Internet Movie Database, Jim Cody Williams
graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
1984. Excellent Adventure was filmed in various locales in Arizona
in 1987 and Jim's appearance as the "bearded cowboy" was one of Jim's
first film roles, but far from his last!
Television roles for this prolific actor include appearances in The
Young Riders, Renegade, Silk Stalkings, Ellen, Babylon 5, Pacific Blue, The
Simple Life, L.A. Heat, The X-Files, The Drew Carey Show, ER, Deadwood, The
Shield, Charmed, Carnivale and Numb3rs.
On film he appeared in Steel Frontier, Black Out, Trial and
Error, Traffic, Dark Blue and Torque. He also did some
uncredited stunt work in Independence Day, Sledge: The Untold Story and The Alibi.
He also appeared in The Dukes of Hazzard movie. Recent films
include I'm Reed Fish, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest, Dark
Ride and the TV
project Our House.
In 2007, Jim made appearances in the films Gardens
of the Night, Hallowed Ground, Rails & Ties and The Comebacks. In
2008 he appeared in the films Garden Party, Confessions of an Action Star (with fellow Bill & Ted
actor Al Leong) and Lower Learning, as well as the series Sons of
Anarchy and Criminal Minds. In 2009, he appeared in the film Infestation
and the TV series Life.
In 2010, he
appeared in the films Good Intentions and Dirty Girl.
He also appeared in the short film Huntin' and the
feature film Letters from the Big Man in 2011. In
2012 he made an appearance in the television series The Finder.
