Updated Biography
His role as a Neanderthal in Excellent Adventure was
fleeting at best, but fans might be more opt to recognize Tom Dugan as the
greasy guy serving hamburgers in ZZ Top's video Legs.
On screen, he's made appearances in the films The Naked Gun:
From the Files of Police Squad (in which he apparently shot then actor O.J.
Simpson!), Ghostbusters II, Kindergarten Cop, Dave, Beethoven's 2nd, Junior,
Stuart Saves His Family, Hellraiser: Bloodline, P.U.N.K.S., and
Pro-Choice.
On television he's appeared in shows such as Alien Nation,
Tales From the Crypt, Chicago Hope, Just Shoot Me!, Party of Five, The Practice, Curb Your Enthusiasm,
The Even Stevens Movie and most recently the Fox series Bones.
According to his mini-bio on the Internet Movie Database, Tom
Dugan had his own talk show on cable access called Dugan's Pub which
sometimes featured his short autobiographical comedy piece Oscar to Oscar .
. . Tom also toured with this one man show in 2000.
Tom Dugan has appeared on stage with The Colony Theatre Company
in Burbank, California, where he appeared in productions of Dandelion Wine,
The Man Who Came to Dinner and Beautiful in the Extreme. Tom
also played Harold Ryan in the Kurt Vonnegut play Happy Birthday Wanda June
on stage in Los Angeles in 2001.
Tom has also
written and performed a number of one man plays across America,
including Robert E. Lee - Shades of Gray, Frederick Douglass -
In the Shadow of Slavery and Nazi Hunter - Simon Weisenthal.
