Linda, won't you take a look at this, see what you think....

Hey Linda, hey everyone! I just wrote a poem inspired by Bill and Ted and somewhat about the possible war movement that might be happening sometime soon. It's about never giving up hope on yourself and always striving for better things in life. So here it is...

we looked inside ourselves
and found a glimmer of hope
our innocence has not faded
cynicism may have corrupted us
loneliness may have infiltrated our hearts
but at the very core of our existence
lives a desire to be someone
other than a nameless soul
drifting on the streets
a desire to be heard
a desire to live in a world
where peace is the norm
and we are all united
but as this hope may only glimmer
in our inner selves
we can only hope that a selfless act
toward a stranger
may eventually lead to a better world

It might all sound a little corny to some of you, but then it might be my insecurity or cynicism. Anywayz I hope you liked it! Love Kitten.xxxxxxxx
