It's possible it could have been Amy Stock-Poynton in the commercial, as she does still appear in things occasionally. Do you remember what the commercial was for (what product or type of product, whether or not it was national or syndicated?) so the rest of us can keep our eyes open for it, too? Then we can confirm whether or not you're going insane, at least about this. ;)
