If they did end up doing a "Bill and Ted at 40" scenario like Alex and Keanu have joked about since Bogus Journey, then their ages wouldn't hurt at all. But it might be disconcerting to see them suddenly about 20 years older if they're still acting like goofy young Bill and Ted. The Bowery Boys continued to play "boys" for years but the movies were coming out continuously so it wasn't as jarring to moviegoers. To suddenly have a third B&T installment after so long would be interesting to say the least! With the right story and script, it could definitely work! But personally I wouldn't be interested in a third movie if Ed, Chris, Alex or Keanu aren't completely involved in the creation process. :)
