Ooh, 20 lb. deep fried turkey . . . ahhhhhh (drooling a la Homer Simpson). We'll be having an 18 lb. bird cooked in a Nesco roaster. Gotta love turkey day! (Or tofu day for our excellent vegan friends!).

Yes, I'm still in Hawaii! I may be here for up to six months, I've pretty much moved here for now, but the good news is my sister is responding to chemo pretty well. I think she's holding up like a real trooper! It's beautiful here, there's no doubt, but we're right on the periphery of Honolulu with a great view. I did put Christmas lights up already, how about that???
