Mike Meyers has maintained that he came up with Wayne's World before Bill and Ted and that it was all just a happy coincidence they happened about the same time, but one can't dispute that Wayne's World definitely debuted on SNL *after* Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Whether or not Meyers ever performed Wayne before then is not known (by me anyway). ;)
