Excellent question! I used the Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150 for the video capture but the Dazzle editing software isn't that great so I used ULead VideoStudio 7 for the editing. Sadly my computer's memory is sorely lacking for editing work so I couldn't get any proper playback while editing, so a good majority of it was done completely on the fly, hit or miss. Didn't turn out too badly considering! When I edit on a Mac I use a Formac to capture and the basic iMovies for editing. Modern technology . . . gotta love it! :)
