LOL! Dude, don't feel bad. I think deep down everyone wants to know what the heck the deal is with "station." I mean, why station? Why not another word . . . pancake, elevator, string? What's the significance? (Besides obvious hopes that it would become a big catch phrase, which it hasn't.) Well, the thing is I doubt there is any deep meaning to it . . . it's just a word that's supposed to mean anything (as I've said before, kind of like smurf). But I'll let you in on something enlightening and I can't confirm this, but I think it's the reason they used that particular word: If you go to San Dimas, driving on the 210, near the major offramp there's a strip mall with a great big sign above it (it's SO notable from the freeway) which says "San Dimas Station." This is the name of the strip mall and it looks like it's been there for a very long time. I can only assume that's the reason they used that word. I don't even know if the San Dimas Station is still there (I haven't been there since the early 90's), but one day I'll make a trip up and get a picture of the sign if I can. In the meantime, no worries about being ridiculed, it's a fair question! Station, dude!! ;)
