The song playing in the mall scene (during the chase) is called Play With Me. Go to our section called The Music and you can listen to a segment of that track to see if it's the one you're thinking of. The band is called Extreme and the song does appear on the movie's soundtrack. I gotta ask, where were they showing Excellent Adventure at midnight? That sounds most excellent! Party on!
