DVD information

I have just recently learned through the Internet Movie Database that BOTH Bill and Ted's 1 & 2 will be released this July in Europe. Even though this is not a domestic release, it bodes well for future US DVD releases. Unfortunately, MGM, who holds the distribution rights to Bogus Journey has been less than stellar with past catalog title releases, meaning that a plain-jane edition of "Bogus" is most likely. I am an avid fan of both movies and wish for the absolute best versions of these films, which has led me to begin e-mailing MGM, as well as Universal (who is distributing "Excellent Adventure" in Europe)imploring them to make special editions of these films due to their popularity and not neglect the fans of the films! I have also suggested to them that a petition for the special edition treatment of these films could be started to prove to them their popularity is still strong. But most of
all I think that everyone sending e-mails and/or calling them requesting special edition versions of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey would probably do the most for getting
them done right, which I suggest we all do, ASAP!
