The first movie...

...originally had a lot more interaction between B&T and the other students, showing them as outcasts. There was a graduation scene actually filmed as well. This was cut down to the brief shots we see of those students in the classroom scene ("Stand up, Ted") and shots of them in the auditorium audience at the end. The graduation was cut out entirely. I have no idea if this footage still exsists... but I SERIOUSLY hope that is does, and that at least some of it will make it's way onto the forthcoming DVD (huge air guitar to Pump Daddy and wyld for digging up the info about those!).

The second film had a LOT cut out. Originally the dudes were supposed to have a huge confrontation with their 'fears' from hell (Granny Preston, Easter Bunny, Col. Oats, etc) and also had a considerably nastier battle with the evil robots at the end. These scenes were considered 'too scary' for kids, so they were cut.

Linda, my partner-in-crime in creating this web page is currently writing up an article detailing these missing scenes, including quotes from the original scripts and pictures. Stay tuned!
