Notable film roles for Ed Gale include Howard the Duck, Spaceballs (which also featured fellow Station Arturo Gil), Phantasm II, Child's Play 1 & 2, Dolly Dearest (in which he performed inside the Dolly costume), Mom and Dad Save the World (written by Bill & Ted authors Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, also with Arturo Gil), The Jungle Book, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle.  He performed stunt work in the Child's Play movies, The Little Rascals, Honey I Blew Up the Kids, Unstrung Heroes, Tiptoes, L.A. Dicks and he also portrayed an elf in The Polar Express.

On television Ed has made guest appearances in Friday the 13th, Weird Science, 3rd Rock from the Sun, The Norm Show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Just Shoot Me! and The Hughleys.  He's also done a healthy amount of commercial work, appearing in spots for Kinko's, Sony Playstation, Snapple, McDonalds and Taco Bell, to name but a few.

In 2007 Ed co-starred in the short film Marksman.  In 2008 he appeared in the movie The Gold & The Beautiful and the series My Name is Earl.  2009 saw Mr. Gale appearing in a video called The Telling and an appearance on the series Bones.  In 2010, he appeared in the film Speed-Dating and the short film Santa Preys for X-mas.

Recent work includes appearances in The Gold & The Beautiful and 365 Days plus voice work in The Amateur Monster Movie.  Ed Gale is slated to appear in the upcoming film How Hard Can it Be?
